Kuder Navigator
The Kuder name and its reputation for career assessments has been around since the highly respected Kuder Preference Record was created in 1938. A Kuder assessment that we use and recommend for middle and high school students is the Kuder Navigator.
The Navigator helps students identify and make career decisions based on their skills, values and preferences for work environments (e.g., working indoors, amount of travel involved, etc.). It provides recommendations based upon a single career model, The Holland Hexagon of Job Content.
Students who take the Navigator have lifetime use of a vast amount of current online information regarding career options, typical salary levels (location-specific), etc. The software allows them to fill in educational level, job location and salary preferences, etc., and matches the student with careers or jobs throughout the U.S. and/or the world. Students can watch job videos to help them decide on careers of interest to them. They can also search for colleges and financial aid to help them fulfill their educational and career goals.
Middle and high school students (and their parents) can learn more about the Kuder Navigator and order an online assessment at www.kudernavigator.com.
Kuder Journey
Similar to Kuder Navigator, Kuder Journey offers job and career information and online resources. The Journey is tailored to college students and to adult job seekers and career changers. The Kuder Journey helps students make decisions about an initial job after college and also helps adults who are making career transitions.
In addition, the Journey helps college students advance their education through graduate school and apprenticeship searches, keep track of college accomplishments, and prepare materials for the job search. The Journey helps Job seekers search for education and training to help fulfill their goals, maintain a public e-Portfolio that’s all about them and what they have to offer, create resumes, and access transition tools that are tailored to their individual needs.
College students (and their parents), job seekers, and career changers can learn more about the Kuder Journey and order an online assessment at www.kuderjourney.com.
We ask our clients to share their Kuder Reports with us so we can assist them in career planning and/or the job search.
