A female engineer in a manufacturing setting was moved out of a leadership role and was working on special projects when we were asked to conduct a customized 360 Feedback process for her. Her 360 Report identified her strengths and development needs. Afterwards, we worked with her to create an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Through leadership coaching, she quickly changed perceptions that she was focused too much on small details. She also realized that she was reluctant to hold others accountable. She also admitted that she lacked both confidence and visibility with key decision-makers at the company. With ongoing coaching, she demonstrated that she was a viable candidate to step into a significant line management role. She is now firmly established as an integral part of the leadership team at her workplace.
