Camille helped me develop the necessary study skills and habits to succeed in a rigorous college environment. The check-ins and coaching sessions required that I keep up with my work by holding me accountable for the goals that I set. Furthermore, the use of a shared calendar for coaching made it easy to stay on the same page, discuss upcoming assignments/commitments, and space out daily study times. Camille went above and beyond the general coaching services provided by researching aspects of my specific college, working with college staff, and attending meetings with me on campus to ensure that my goals would be reached. The skills that I learned and worked on with Camille will be critical in determining my success post-college. Although I was not completely sold on the benefits of a coach when I first started, I can confidently say that I would be in a very different situation had I not worked with Camille. I highly recommend Camille as a coach.

I was given the opportunity by my firm to participate in the 360 Feedback coaching program offered by Camille Harris of LaMountain & Associates. Camille’s personality, vast knowledge and empathetic listening truly created a platform for me to recognize the communication and leadership skills I needed to become a more effective professional and simply a more effective person. The program’s effectiveness comes from the power of perception. The 360 Feedback allows us to recognize how we are perceived versus what we think we are doing effectively or ineffectively as a professional. Throughout the process, Camille’s coaching offered me the opportunity to pinpoint very important personal objectives in our developmental plan together.
The process was eye opening for me. I learned the importance of all aspects of dialogue and communication, including empathetic listening and how to be more understood. Having completed the program, I will continue to use the lessons from my coaching as a resource to improve myself continuously. I would recommend the program and LaMountain and Associates to any Senior or Junior-level manager seeking to better themselves and their perception from others around them.

Camille helped me refine my organizational skills allowing me to unlock my full potential for my first year in college. Her coaching sessions were very helpful and she was always available if I needed help with anything, whether it be with academics or adjusting to new college life. With some of the strategies I’ve acquired through her, I look forward to participating as an Academic Mentor to new underclassmen each year. I will help them adjust much like she helped me. Camille is great at what she does, and I highly recommend her services

Camille was able to help me understand the difference between being a manager and a leader and to coach me into successful leadership with my team and within my division. Her patience with my resistance to change was extraordinary and she was able to put the leadership concepts into language that my engineering mentality could grasp. She was not afraid to challenge me and to push me outside my comfort zone. She is very well read and her book recommendations spot on. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to develop their leadership and strategic thinking skills as well as to anyone seeking to gain a better understanding of their personality and how it impacts perceptions and reactions.

As a non-native English speaking engineer working in an American corporation, I have sometimes had hard times in the workplace due to weak skills in particular areas, such as conflict management, influencing people, and effective communications. When I first started working with Camille, I did not believe these were my problems. However, the 360 Feedback process I went through revealed the full range of interviewees’ perceptions and understandings of me. It was such remarkably good data that I was willing to admit and accept that I did need to improve my skills in certain areas.
Camille’s coaching is very effective and efficient, not to mention so much enjoyable. Her strategy in the coaching sessions is in three steps: First, “Do you accept that you have a problem?”, and second, “Do you want to deal with it?” If the answers are “yes” and “yes,” then she gives you a compass to guide you and encourages you to follow your own path as she watches your progress. She keeps you busy doing homework in the knowledge phase of learning to prepare for the sessions. Then she makes you sure of applying the acquired knowledge in the practice phase of learning during the coaching sessions. She helps you develop a habit of practicing what you have learned about. A self-learning process cannot provide this level of effectiveness, efficiency and pleasure in learning. Since Camille’s sessions were designed specifically for me to smoothly step up from the knowledge phase to the practice phase, I could clearly see my issues and recognize my weaknesses.
Camille’s expertise and sophisticated sense of humor made the coaching sessions extremely comfortable and enjoyable. I could hardly wait for the next session when I finished one. This is the beauty of the tailor-made coaching sessions.
At the beginning of our work together, Camille showed me a door to the new world of dealing with problems I did not know that I had and asked me if I wanted to open the door. Once I opened the door, she guided me to explore the new world. I thank her for doing this. Now the door is wide open.

I was Camille’s coaching client during my sophomore year in college. I learned a lot about time management, how to motivate myself, and how to develop good habits and keep them going. The big thing was motivating myself. Before coaching, I didn’t know what I needed to do to push myself – right down to updating my resume at our last session! Camille made me think about how to push myself and come up with ways to get things done. I really liked the Skype coaching, too. It helped me pay attention during sessions. The check-ins between sessions also helped me stay on track! I loved having Camille as my coach!

Camille was able to hold my agenda and check to make sure that when I chose another direction that I was aware of this. She was gracious and flexible in these direction changes. Camille worked to educate me on certain ways that my ADHD may show up in my life and around elements I did not associate specifically with ADHD, even though I’ve been aware of these aspects of myself for years. She helped reframe some thought patterns and offered encouragement when I needed it. Her coaching style was light, flexible, concrete, and informative.
